Message to all Customers – Positive COVID-19 Test
Today (23rd September) we were notified that a customer who last attended the Kings Club at around 11.30pm on Saturday 19th September has unfortunately received a positive COVID-19 test. We wish our customer a full recovery. As a precaution we have contacted the customers who were also in the Kings Club at that time and suggested they contact track and trace for advice on whether they now need to self-isolate. Irrespective of this we have asked these customers not to come into the Kings club for 14 days.
We will be contacting Public Health agencies for advice, guidance and support. We will be guided by them, but presently we plan to have a deep clean and open as usual on Thursday at 7pm.
If you attended the Kings Club on Saturday night or Sunday we ask you to closely monitor your own health and report to see if you become symptomatic with a cough or fever or lose your sense of taste/smell. COVID-19 Public health guidance is available on GOV.UK.
Please note the Kings Club was deep cleaned on Sunday morning.
As per Government advice you do not need to get a COVID-19 test if you are not displaying any symptoms.
We understand the level of concern this may cause for our customers and we are taking this situation very seriously. We are responding in a way that is responsible, proportionate and consistent with NHS and public health advice.
Going forward if you come to the Kings Club please note the following;
· Please wear a facemask unless seated.
· Please remain seated and do not go to the bar.
· Please order drinks via the waiter service.
· Please remain socially distant.
· Please wash your hands.
· Please give your number for track and trace.
· Please do not sit in groups of more than 6.
